Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara is not interested in joining Wolves this summer, according to reports in Italy.
Diawara is thought to be surplus to requirements at the Serie A club and Nuno Espírito Santo was interested in bringing him to Molineux.
But Sky Sports Italy report that the Guinea international has decided he would rather join Roma instead.
The 21-year-old has been at Napoli for three years but he made just 13 appearances last season.
Partonopei boss Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly keen on signing Roma defender Kostas Manolas, and is hoping to use Diawara as a makeweight in the deal.
It looks like Wolves’ wait for their first signing of the summer will go on.
