While most of the focus has been on who could join West Ham in January to help the club fight against relegation, there could still be some players on their way out.
According to Foot Mercado, Italian giants Napoli have engaged in transfer talks with Arthur Masuaku as they are focusing on bringing in a new left-back this month.
Despite signing a new five-year deal in July, the 26-year-old has only made 11 appearances totalling 729 minutes in all competitions this season, with Aaron Cresswell much preferred at the position.
However, since the return of David Moyes, Masuaku has appeared in all three games and started against both Gillingham and Sheffield United.
Without much depth at the position, West Ham will likely be reluctant for the Congo international to leave unless they receive a huge fee for the player.
Italian sources also suggested that West Ham attempted to approach Napoli forward Dries Mertens but had their advances turned away.
