Mohamed Elyounoussi has high hopes for fellow Norweigan Kristoffer Ajer and believes he could one day break his Norweigan transfer record fee of £16m.
The 21-year-old Ajer has been sensational next to Christopher Jullien this season and Elyounoussi believes he has the capability to progress to the next level.
“We’ll see how long we keep Kristoffer. He has been at Celtic for a couple of years and has done very well.
“I expect to see him in a bigger club and a bigger league.
“From what I’ve seen of him in the past and now on a daily basis in training and in combat, he is more than good enough for the Premier League.
“You shouldn’t be surprised if he goes there one day, and even beats my transfer record.”
The 10-time Norway international has featured in 18 of Celtic’s 20 matches in all competitions this season.
