Mohamed Salah continued his fine start to life at Liverpool with a brace in the first half against Southampton on Saturday.
The Egypt international netted his 13th and 14th goals since joining from Roma in the summer – the most of any Premier League player in all competitions this season.
Salah’s first goal came after 31 minutes at Anfield on Saturday when he gave Saints goalkeeper Fraser Forster no chance with a sumptuous strike from range.
And he made it 2-0 10 minutes later when he finished well after being slipped in on goal.
The 25-year-old is now top of the Premier League scoring charts and how about these for some stats?
Signing of the summer? It’s difficult to argue otherwise.
