Bayern Munich coach Miroslav Klose believes Robert Lewandowski is ’10 times better’ than he was as a player.
Klose was known for goalscoring throughout his career, scoring 121 goals in 307 appearances at club level, and 71 goals in 137 appearances for Germany.
But the 41-year-old has labelled Lewandowski the ‘complete striker’ and that he has already surpassed his ceiling.
“Robert Lewandowski plays a bit like I did, but he’s 10 times better than I ever was,” he told Sportbild.
“He’s the complete striker, uses both feet, is strong in the air and has a great shot on him.”
“Thomas Müller is the guy I enjoyed playing with the most,” the World Cup hero added. “We had a fantastic understanding.
“We only had to look at other, and we knew what we were going to do. It really was a great partnership!”
Bayern return to domestic action against Augsburg on October 19.
