América’s manager, Miguel Herrera has confirmed that Giovani Dos Santos will not play tomorrow night versus Tigres in California.
Herrera made it clear that he believes the 30-year-old is not in game-shape and needs to continue to work in order to get to the level of his peers.

The former LA Galaxy forward looks to return to the pitch after nearly four months without a club.
“We are continuing to try and accelerate his return,” said Herrera of Dos Santos return to the pitch. “However, we don’t want to throw him in there before he is ready and risk an injury.”
América will open up their 2019 Apertura season on July 20 when they take on Monterrey.
