Miguel Herrera confirms América will buy Federico Viñas outright | OneFootball

América have taken advantage of the current situation in world football to consider everything necessary in order to be able to return in the best way.

The issue of player contracts is something that has attracted a lot of attention in recent days, with Emanuel Aguilera and Federico Viñas the centre of attention.

Viñas has been a stunning surprise in all the best ways but is still on loan from Uruguayan outfit Juventud while Aguilera’s contract is set to expire at the end of 2020.

“The only thing that we have coming up is to validate the purchase of Federico Viñas. The América board have already spoken with Juventud and told them we will activate our purchase option.

“Emanuel Aguilera’s contract expires in December but we already started talking to him and his representative about extending his deal.”

Though little was expected from Viñas, as he was an emergency depth signing, he’s been spectacular, scoring eight goals in 18 games at the club.
