Crystal Palace remain interested in the Belgian following his loan spell last season, but refuse to meet Chelsea’s €50m valuation.

Batshuayi has two years left on his current deal and could be playing for an extension with his long-term future in mind.

The west London club will conclude their pre-season with matches against Reading, RB Salzburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
