Danny Rose is doing rehab training at England’s St George’s Park training centre as he works his way back from a knee injury, according to his manager.
Mauricio Pochettino revealed that the left-back has been off-site in a bit to return to fitness as quick as possible.
“He is doing his rehab in St George’s Park until last week. I hope he can be back in the next weeks,” said Pochettino.
“The players always need some time to change.”
Meanwhile, Harry Winks has had an injection to aid his troublesome ankle but that will not be enough for him to face Everton on Saturday.
Pochettino explained: “He had an injection on Monday and is still not training. We will see next week if he can start to train again.
“For tomorrow [against Everton] there is no way.”
Toby Alderweireld remains out with a hamstring problem.
