Although Mateus Uribe did not look so good with América in the 2019 Clausura, the Colombian could have a place in the Boca Juniors squad if he performs well at Copa America.
Boca Juniors will reportedly go for the 28-year-old should Nahitan Nández head to Europe.
However, Boca Juniors sporting director Nicolás Burdisso has admitted there has yet to be a concrete offer for Nández.
“The players who are leaving want to leave. Nothing has come through for Nández yet.
“If one arrives, we will all sit down with the president to have a word.”
Uribe enjoyed a brace in Colombia’s 3-0 win over Peru on Sunday in their final tune-up before South America’s premiere tournament.
Colombia will begin Group B play against Colombia on Saturday.
