Marcos Alonso has refused to rule out a potential move away from Chelsea this summer amid reported interested from clubs in Spain.
The 28-year-old has spent the past three seasons at Stamford Bridge where he’s won the Premier League and an FA Cup title.
But stories have emanated in the Spanish press claiming that former side Real Madrid could make a move during the off-season.
And when asked about a potential switch back to his homeland, Alonso admitted his future was up in the air.
“I am very happy here but we will see what happens this summer,” he told the Evening Standard.
There is always talk (like this). Is it a compliment? Yes. It means I’m doing well if other teams are trying to get in touch.
“But first of all I’m focussing on the final. I am very happy to have four more years here and hopefully I will stay many more years here.”
Chelsea face Arsenal in the Europa League final next Wednesday.
