Legendary Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has struggled to stay healthy over the past three seasons, making just 55 Bundesliga appearances due to a myriad of injuries.

The 33-year-old bounced back to make 38 appearances in all competitions last season as he helped Bayern achieve the domestic double for the fourth time in his career at the club.

Despite having to suffer from metatarsal fractures, finger issues and torn calf muscles, Neuer claims that he’s absolutely pain-free ahead of the upcoming campaign.

“I feel really good right now, I’m not in any pain and can take part in everything we’re doing. I’m really looking forward to the new season.”

Sven Ulreich, who has made 69 appearances since his arrival, is set to backup Neuer for the fifth straight season.
