Manchester United 'ready to offer' €35m for João Cancelo | OneFootball

Another day, another defender linked with a move to Manchester United.

Everyone from Alex Sandro to Kieran Tierney, Danny Rose to Faouzi Ghoulam have been rumoured to be on their way to Old Trafford this summer.

What we do know for sure is that Luke Shaw will almost certainly leave the club after falling foul of José Mourinho’s ire this term.

However, a new report in the Mirror on Friday has claimed that it’s Inter Milan man João Cancelo who will join the Red Devils for next campaign.

Cancelo was actually only on loan at the Nerazzurri last season from Valencia and the Italian giants are yet to take up their option on signing him full-time.

As such, United have been alerted to the fact he could well become available to buy soon and are looking at potentially making an offer of €35m.

The 23-year-old was almost ever-present for Luciano Spalletti’s side last term, starting 26 games as they qualified for the Champions League.
