Manchester United have cooled their interest in Gareth Bale, paving the way for a move to Inter.
Bale has been a long-term target at Old Trafford but, according to the Independent, the club no longer seem as interested in him.
The Welshman turns 29 this summer and has had huge dips in form. His injury record is another concern.
Bale has made 27 appearances for Madrid this season, scoring 14 goals in all competitions. However, his form isn’t at the heights expected in Madrid.
With Real Madrid hoping to sign Neymar, a shake-up is expected at the Bernabéu this summer and Bale is likely to be one of the stars worth enough to be sold.
The report goes on to say Inter have shown an interest in the winger, with Premier League clubs put off by his sizeable salary.
