Manchester United and Bayern Munich reportedly had scouts in Lisbon to watch Benfica wonderkid João Felix on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season for his boyhood club, scoring five and assisting two in 11 Liga NOS appearances.
According to the Independent, United are ‘considering’ a summer move, with Bayern watching Felix as an alternative to Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Felix initially established himself as a midfielder but has thrived under Bruno Lage as a mobile support striker and/or centre forward.
Should interest become concrete, Benfica hold a strong negotiation stance after inserting a €120m release clause into his new five-year deal in November.
Atlético Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the teenager.
