According to Sport, both clubs have offered the 16-year-old a contract with an official decision expected in the coming days.

Barcelona are said to have made a ‘huge effort’ keep the teenager and have promoted him to train with their Under-19 side.

However, with concrete offers on the table from England, the Guinea-born midfielder may have had his head turned.

The report also claims that Juventus have expressed an interest but could not match the financial power of City or Chelsea.
