Manchester City’s latest bid for Napoli’s Jorginho could be worth up to €55m, according to reports in Italy.

However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis will likely reject the Premier League club’s new offer, as he isn’t happy with how it has been structured.

City have reportedly offered €47m plus €5m-€6m in bonuses, but the Partonopei are holding out for a figure closer to €68m plus various add-ons.

According to Italian outlet Di Marzio, the two clubs have discussed the possibility of Oleksandr Zinchenko moving to the Stadio San Paolo as part of the deal.

The Ukrainian midfielder played a utility role at the Etihad Stadium last season but is not thought to be part of Pep Guardiola’s first-team plans.

If both parties can’t come to an agreement soon, City could move on to alternative targets. According to The Sun, Real Madrid’s Mateo Kovačić and Southampton’s Mario Lemina are two potential other options.
