Premier League champions Manchester City are closing in on a summer signing.
According to the Guardian, City have agreed a £7m deal for Hadjuk Split midfielder Ante Palaversa.
However, he won’t join the club until the summer.
The 18-year-old currently captains Croatia’s U-19 team and has made 14 league appearances for Hadjuk this season, scoring twice.
Whether or not Palaversa is with the City first team next season remains to be seen.
The youngster has been touted as a possible successor for 33-year-old Fernandinho but City may still look to sign a more established player to take his place in the summer.
