Pep Guardiola has chosen leave Sergio Agüero out of Saturday’s visit of Bournemouth.
With a game against Watford to come on Tuesday, Agüero has reportedly been rested for the encounter with the Cherries, and he is replaced in the starting line-up by Gabriel Jesus.
Elsewhere, in a much-changed side, Danilo comes in for Kyle Walker at right-back, and İlkay Gündoğan and Bernardo Silva both return from injury to replace Riyad Mahrez and David Silva in midfield.
There is also no place in the match day squad for John Stones.
Here are the two teams in full …
City have beaten Bournemouth every time the two sides have met in the Premier League so far and if Raheem Sterling scores in this game, he will become the first player in Premier League history to score in each of his first six appearances against an opponent.
