Manchester City transfer chief Ferran Soriano has claimed that they will be adding some “exciting” new additions over the summer.
City are currently fighting for an unprecedented Quadruple with Pep Guardiola’s side having already won the EFL Cup and fighting on three further fronts.
The reigning Premier League champions are playing, arguably, the best brand of football in Europe but the club won’t stop in their pursuit to get even better.
Saúl Ñíguez, Tanguy Ndombele, Declan Rice and Ruben Neves have all been linked with moves to the Etihad in time for next season, and Soriano has insisted that they will spend once again this summer.
“You know our squad, it’s very good,” he told Manchester Evening News.
“It’ll need adjustments but not a revolution. I’m sure there will be some exciting new players coming.”
City’s next game after the international break is away at Fulham on March 30.
