Mamadou Sakho investigated over anti-doping violation
Liverpool’s Mamadou Sahko is being investigated by UEFA after reportedly failing a drug test.
Although not subject to any suspension at this time, Sahko and Liverpool have agreed that he will not be available for selection while the investigation takes place.
In an official statement, Liverpool FC have confirmed that “the player is not subject to any playing suspension. However, the club, in consultation with the player, has decided that while this process is followed the player will not be available for selection for matches.”
