Barcelona received a big injury boost on Friday as Malcom returned to training.
The former Bordeaux and Corinthians man suffered a sprained ankle during Barcelona’s Copa del Rey win over Cultural Leonesa.
After infamously spurning Roma for Barcelona over the summer in a €41m move, the 21-year-old was expected to compete for a starting role.
However, Malcom has been on the pitch for less than 300 minutes with Barcelona, scoring two goals in nine appearances in all competitions.
Barcelona will hope he’s match-fit for their trip to Levante this Sunday.
