Lyon are reportedly putting plans in place to lure Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema back to France.

Benzema left Les Gones for Madrid in 2009 and has since gone on to become the sixth-highest scorer in their history, netting 226 times in 442 appearances.

According to AS, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is ‘obsessed’ with bringing the 32-year-old back to Parc OL and is already setting aside finances aside.

It’s said that Benzema will demand a two-year playing contract before taking up a coaching role at their famous academy.
