Borussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre has admitted there is still plenty of room for improvement after his side beat Köln 3-1 on Friday.
Second half goals from Jadon Sancho, Achraf Hakimi and Paco Alcacer made sure the Schwarzgelben kept up their 100 per cent record in the Bundesliga this term.
But Favre has insisted that his boys should have done better, despite being ultimately pleased with the three points.
“We are very happy with this victory,” he told reporters.
“We knew it was going to be a tough game. Köln were very strong in the first half, especially in their pressing and had some chances.
“We couldn’t play our usual game because we were too slow. The movement was not so good.
“We played faster in the second half and kept our patience.”
Dortmund travel to Union Berlin in their next league match.
