Lucas Paquetá makes first AC Milan start against Sampdoria

The highly-rated Brazilian will gain his first experience of Italian football

Lucas Paquetá starts his first game for AC Milan as they take on Sampdoria in the Coppa Italia.

Paquetá – a €35m signing from Flamengo – will be hoping to emulate fellow countryman Kaká who won the 2007 Ballon d’Or in Rossoneri colours.

Elsewhere, Pepe Reina, Alessio Romagnoli, Franck Kessié and Tiémoué Bakayoko also feature.

Gonzalo Higuaín leads the line despite strong speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea.
