Liverpool are reportedly ready to offer Mohamed Salah a new ‘bumper deal’ in hope of warding off interest from Real Madrid.

The Egyptian has been a standout performer in the Premier League this season, scoring 23 times in just 27 games as the Reds look set to secure another Champions League place.

According to the Daily Express, Salah has already attracted attention from Europe’s top clubs despite signing for the club last summer, with Real Madrid the latest to hold an interest in his services.

The 25-year-old has, however, expressed his happiness at Anfield and maintains that the support shown to him on Merseyside has helped him to settle in quickly.

Salah told Sky Sports: “From day one, I felt their support and that they like me, so I have to give more to make them happy. Every day I see and feel that, even in the warm-up, so it is a fantastic atmosphere.

“I am happy to hear my song every game and feel the love of the fans. I am happy about everything right now.”

Should the winger put pen-to-paper, this could trigger a series of deals being signed as it’s also being reported that Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino are close to signing new deals.

Liverpool’s attacking trio are ‘defying belief’, according to midfielder Emre Can, who is also yet to commit his future to the Anfield club.

“The front three can score in every game at any minute. It’s unbelievable how good they are. They did it again against West Ham. We are always happy if they can score and we win.”
