Liverpool will reportedly make one final push to sign Lyon midfielder Nabil Fékir.
A €60m deal taking Fékir to Anfield was agreed shortly before the World Cup but collapsed after the Frenchman’s medical.
Unhappy with damage done to his knee during a 2015 operation, Liverpool hoped to restructure their payments only for Lyon to call off the move completely.
However, according to L’Equipe, the French side are still open to offers for their captain and will accept anything in the region of €65m.
Les Gones president Jean-Michel Aulas is known for being a stern negotiator but Liverpool are willing to re-enter talks as Jürgen Klopp reportedly sees Fékir as the missing piece to his midfield puzzle.
