On Tuesday, Ruhr Nachrichten reported that two Bundesliga sides were interested in bringing in Borussia Dortmund’s Mario Götze on a free transfer this summer.

According to German outlet Sport 1, Bayer Leverkusen and Hertha Berlin have been identified as potential suitors for the 2014 World Cup winner.

Inter Milan, Arsenal, and Everton have also all been previously linked with a summer move for the former Bayern man.

Götze, who is believed to be making an annual salary of around €10m, was reportedly offered a new deal this season though he would be forced to take a significant pay cut.

The 27-year-old has found playing time hard to come by this season, scoring three goals in only 596 minutes in all competitions this saeason.
