Dani Ceballos has only been at Arsenal a few weeks but already he’s made a massive impression on fans at the Emirates.

Signed from Real Madrid for the season, Ceballos has slotted right into Unai Emery’s midfield and put in a few starring performances for the north Londonders.

He may have wowed folks in N5, but that’s nothing compared to the impression Alexandre Lacazette has left on the Spaniard.

Speaking to the Guardian, Ceballos revealed what it was like to play with the Gunners exciting front three, but insisted that Lacazette is out there on his own when it comes to quality.

“We’ve got a very good, compact side and the three up front really make the difference,” he said.

“You can compare [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang to Cristiano [Ronaldo] when he was at Madrid in the sense that he plays close to the goal, he lives for scoring. He’s very important for us, fundamental.

“[Nicolas] Pépé is very direct. And [Alexandre] Lacazette, for me, is the best player: he understands the game perfectly and, if he’s 100%, he’s going to give us so much.”

Arsenal travel to Watford this weekend for what will be Quique Sanchez Flores’ first game back in charge of the Hornets.
