Manchester City are reportedly considering January moves for either Jonny Evans or Çağlar Söyüncü
City are in the midst of a defensive crisis with the likes of Aymeric Laporte and Oleksandr Zinchenko out injured and Nicolas Otamendi desperately out of form.
As such, the reigning champions are looking to make a move for an established Premier League defender during the winter window.
Sky Sports say that Pep Guardiola has targeted both of Leicester’s centre-backs as potential recruits, with City ready to make their move post-Christmas.
Evans and Söyüncü have formed an impressive partnership so far this season, conceding just eight goals – the lowest in the division.
The Foxes are thought to be resistant to any offers midway through the season, and have slapped a hefty €80m price tag on the Turkey international.
Evans will cost considerably less though, with the midlands side thought to be willing to listen to offers of around €20m.
