On Tuesday, the FA ruled that Aston Villa’s Conor Hourihane will receive no punishment for his role in the scrap between Leeds United and Aston Villa during their uncanny 1-1 draw over the weekend.

While Leeds striker Patrick Bamford received a two-game ban for his ‘successful deception of a match official’ that got Anwar El Ghazi sent off, Hourihane did not get banned despite video which appear to show him punching Mateusz Klich in the chest following his controversial goal.

After the ruling, Leeds majority owner Andrea Radrizzani admitted he was ‘speechless’ over the lack of action.

Leeds will prepare for the promotion play-off and look to secure the number three seed with a point in their final match at Ipswich, while Aston Villa are virtually locked into the number five seed and will host leaders Norwich.
