Arsenal must win every game before the end of the season to achieve their aim of Champions League qualification, Laurent Koscielny insisted.

Following Monday night’s win over Newcastle United, the Gunners moved into third place as the top four battle heats up.

Although they sit third, Arsenal are just three points above sixth-placed Chelsea with seven games remaining.

Koscielny believes it may take a perfect run-in to propel his side back into the Champions League next season.

“All of our remaining matches will be really tough and we must be at our best to win them,” the defender was quoted as saying by Football.London.

“That is our objective though, winning every game before the end of the season.

“If we do that, we will be assured of the top four, which is very important for the club and players.

“We’re ready to fight for the best finish possible. There is great unity in the squad and faith in the staff.”

Arsenal haven’t reached the Champions League since 2016/17, when Bayern Munich eliminated them in the last 16.
