Football fans protesting is nothing new but Alavés fans went one step further on Monday night.
Fixture scheduling in Spain often prioritises the bigger sides and makes life difficult for regular match going fans.
So they decided to do something about it.
Their incredible mock funeral was symbolising the death of modern football and pointed at officials who continue to line their pockets.
For the first five minutes, the home stand was left empty, before fans poured in dressed in black and holding banners which read âRIP footballâ.
Credit to the Alavés faithful. They took full advantage of their moment in the public eye and hopefully this will come as a wake-up call.
