Jürgen Klopp has confirmed that Mohamed Salah will not play against Barcelona in their Champions League semi-final second leg.
Salah was stretchered off against Newcastle on Saturday, after taking a heavy blow to the head from goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka.
Speaking to Casa del Futbol, Klopp revealed: “Salah cannot play tomorrow. He is recovering well, but he cannot play tomorrow.”
An official diagnosis has yet to be confirmed, but the Egyptian – as well as Roberto Firmino – will only be spectators at Anfield on Tuesday.
