Being a Brazilian midfielder on AC Milan, Lucas Paquetá was always going to draw comparisons to 2007 Ballon d’Or winner Kaká.
However, the 36-year-old does not agree that the two are very alike.
“Lucas is a good player, he did well to go to Milan, the club’s situation changed and he helps rebuild the team.
“This is a new era for Milan and Lucas arrived at a great time.
“I do not think we are similar, I do not think it’s the best to compare us.
“Lucas can do good things, he has great qualities but we go calmly, without pressure.
“I hope Lucas has the same success as I did.”
Paquetá has been very impressive since his arrival, scoring a goal and adding two assists in eight appearances – all starts.
Milan host relegation-threatened Empoli on Friday, with their opponents just three points above the drop zone.
