Brazilian legend Kaká has admitted he is open to the possibility of working at Paris Saint-Germain after becoming a sporting director in his retirement.

The 36-year-old called time on his playing career in 2017 and has since been working behind the scenes at his former club AC Milan.

The former attacking midfielder is currently shadowing Leonardo in his role at San Siro, but Kaká has claimed that he would be open to a role in the French capital.

“PSG? I almost played there, when I left San Paolo for Milan, Leonardo had the idea to loan me to PSG for a season. In my role, Milan already had Rivaldo and Rui Costa so I had to wait for my time,” he told Les Parisien.

“However, when I arrived at Milanello, they preferred to keep me, and from there on everything went well. Become the sporting director of PSG? Why not?

“I know president Nasser Al-Khelaifi well, he is a good person, and it would be great to work for PSG. If the opportunity arises, with the right structure, it would be a great experience.”

The Rossoneri are currently fourth in Serie A and have been linked with moves for Cesc Fàbregas and Zlatan Ibrahimović in January.
