Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly interested in bringing the ‘new Ghoulam’ from Hellas Verona this January.

French-Algerian Mohamed Fares is a versatile left-back, who portrays great skill further up the pitch, too.

At just 21, he has made 13 Serie A appearances for Verona and has attracted interest from many rival clubs in Italy.

Due to represent Algeria at the World Cup next summer, Fares’ contract with Hellas Verona ends in 2021 and he looks set to be a big star.

Although no price has been set, reports state that Juventus could agree to loan Fares back to Verona for the rest of the season if they complete the signing in January.

Massimiliano Allegri and the club officials must hurry to secure the Algeria international’s signature, as league leaders Napoli are also circling around Fares, claiming that he is the next Faouzi Ghoulam.
