Juventus reportedly in talks over Cagliari midfielder

Nicolò Barella has been in impressive form for Cagliari this season and we all know what happens when there’s a talent on the rise in Serie A.

Yep, Juventus are said to be very keen on the 20-year-old midfielder.

Sky Sport Italia report that the Italian champions have met with Cagliari over a potential transfer.

The player signed a new long-term contract with the Sardinian side earlier this month but Juve don’t appear to have been put off.

They be may hoping to beat other top clubs from Italy and around Europe to Barella’s signature.

Barella’s agent, Stefano Beltrami, is credited with involvement in the talks.

A move in January is unlikely, however, meaning any deal for Barella would probably come in the summer at the earliest.
