It appears Juventus will be very active in this summer’s transfer window and one of their priorities is finding a new reserve left-back behind Alex Sandro.

Though Mattia De Sciglio has filled in when necessary, Juve do not currently have another recognised player at the position and will be searching high and dry to fill the gap this summer.

Since coming over from Roma for €20m in January 2018, Emerson to lock down a place in Chelsea’s XI and has only played 105 Premier League minutes in 2020.

Emerson still has two years remaining on his current deal and it’s believed that Juve will not be willing to spend more than €30m on the 25-year-old.

Romano also believes that it’s possible that €22m summer signing Luca Pellegrini returns from his Cagliari loan to fight for a position in the Juve first-team.

This season, Pellegrini has made 20 Serie A appearances (19 starts) for the 12th-placed side, notching four assists but picking up a worrisome nine yellow cards in the process.
