Paul Pogba has already admitted publicly that he wants to leave Manchester United this summer, sending the rumour mill into overdrive.

Real Madrid have been heavily linked with the World Cup winner but if reports in Italy are to be believed, it’s Juventus that are most likely to be his next destination.

Maurizio Sarri has apparently given the green light for the Bianconeri to move for the 26-year-old, but with such an inflated fee and astronomical wages, there is deep discussion in Turin as to how the club will actually pay for the deal.

But now a story in Corriere dell0 Sport has claimed that the Old Lady have asked adidas – their shirt manufacturer – to help finance the deal.

They say that Juve are finding the €175m it would take to sign Pogba and has €15m per year wages prohibitively expensive, and so will ask the German sports giant – who also sponsor the midfielder – whether they can stump up some cash to help bring one of their most-marketable stars to the Allainz Stadium.

With Matthijs de Ligt also in line to join from Ajax and Cristiano Ronaldo’s sky high pay packet, Juve are looking for any help they can get in bringing more world class names to the club – despite being Serie A’s highest-earning side.
