Juventus’ Champions League quarter-final with Ajax is poised on a knife edge at 1-1.
They meet in Turin on Tuesday night for a game that could go beyond the 90 minutes.
However, Juventus aren’t readying themselves for the possibility of a penalty shootout.
Midfielder Emre Can revealed how that isn’t a consideration against an Ajax outfit who have impressed him.
“For the fans, for everyone involved, the Champions League is important and it is the same for us,” Can told reporters.
“The game won’t be easy. Ajax are a very good team, they are awesome, but we want to play our game.
“I watched them on TV and I liked them but we’re not afraid. I think we’ll win.
“Penalties isn’t on our minds. The only one who stayed back after training to practice them was me!”
The German missed the first leg in Amsterdam through injury but is now back at full fitness.
