Juve target Nikola Milenković as hunt for new centre back continues | OneFootball

Juventus are reportedly targeting a move for Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenković should they fail in their bid to sign Matthijs De Ligt from Ajax.

De Ligt is widely seen as one of the most exciting young centre backs in Europe right now and has been linked to a number of top level clubs all over the continent.

The Bianconeri are heavily tracking the Ajax defender but fear that they will lose out to either Barcelona or Manchester City in the bidding.

As such, Massimiliano Allegri’s men are looking at other options to bolster their defensive ranks. According to Tuttosport, they have ear-marked the Viola man as one such target.

The 21-year-old Serbia international has been integral to Stefano Pioli’s side since joining from Partizan Belgrade last summer and has so far started every game this season for the Tuscan outfit.

Although Fiorentina would be loathed to sell to one of their most fervent rivals, Tuttosport claim that they would listen to offers north of €40m.
