After a successful year-long spell at Corinthians, defensive midfielder Júnior Urso is set to join Major League Soccer’s Orlando City in the next 24 hours.
The Lions are prepared to offer the 30-year-old a four-year deal after Corinthians accept a reported $900,000 offer, much below market price as Orlando City are willing to take care of bonus payments owed to the player and/or a fine for the Brazilian leaving the club early.
It may not be the only player from the Brasileirão that comes to Orlando as Palmeiras centre-back Antonio Carlos has also been linked with a move.
Corinthians are said to be replacing him with Colombian Victor Cantillo of Atlético Junior.
