Jordan Henderson says he expects Manchester City to win every match | OneFootball

After 15 games, as predicted before the season, Liverpool and Manchester City are in a tight race at the top of the Premier League table.

Both sides are unbeaten, with City on top with 41 points, while Liverpool are just two points back on 39.

With both teams in top form, Jordan Henderson started the mind games by stating he expects City to win every match.

“We are not really interested in City, to be honest, because there is a long way to go.

“We know how good they are, we expect them to win,” Henderson admitted.

“We just expect ourselves to win games and perform to the level that we have been – and if we do that we can keep winning.

“But we just focus on game by game and it doesn’t really matter about anybody else.

“The games are coming thick and fast, a lot of games in a short space of time but we showed we can use the squad and still perform to the level we know we are capable of and win games – and that’s a big plus for us.”

Liverpool travel to face Bournemouth on Saturday, while City travel to face Chelsea in a huge showdown at Stamford Bridge.
