Danish youngster Joachim Andersen has admitted he could be moving to Tottenham in the summer.

The Sampdoria defender was reported to be of interest to Mauricio Pochettino’s side in January, with the Independent claiming that Spurs were willing to pay €30m for the centre-back.

And now Andersen has responded to those stories, but also revealed links to two other clubs in Europe.

“It’s hard to say [which is my favourite league]. England, Spain or Italy,” he told Ekstra Bladet.

“But it comes mostly to the club, which must have a good plan for me, and it must make sense in the long term.

“I have to take the right steps at the right times. So I don’t really care if it’s Tottenham, Inter or Atlético Madrid.”

Tottenham are likely to be on the hunt for a new central defender come the end of the season with Toby Alderweireld entering the final 12 months of his contract.
