James Rodriguez has said his future is yet to be decided after scoring his first Bayern Munich hat-trick.

The Colombian is still technically on loan at the Allianz Arena but Bayern have a €42m option to make the move permanent.

James had been linked with a return to Real Madrid, though that is now in doubt with Zinedine Zidane back at the Bernabéu.

“Nobody knows what the future brings,” James told Sport1 after the 6-0 defeat of Mainz on Sunday.

“The clubs will hold talks.

“I’m very happy and I feel comfortable here.”

James has hit top form for Bayern recently and the club will almost certainly try to convince him to stay with them.
