James Rodríguez was visibly delighted with his return to training on Wednesday morning.
The 26-year-old caressed the ball, pulled off tricks, and was beaming from ear to ear despite the strenuous workload.
Earlier today, the Colombian took the next steps in his recovery by returning to first-team training.
The Bayern Munich website have revealed that after a day off, the players were engaged in a high-intensity training session, performing running and sprinting exercises before turning in intense rondo drills. The high tempo meant there was no rest for the first-teamers.
James did not complete training, however, as he subsequently returned to the performance centre to continue his individual rehab program.
