England could be without the services of midfielder James Maddison for Sunday evening’s clash in Kosovo.

The Leicester City ace made his international debut on Thursday night in the 7-0 win over Montenegro, coming off the bench.

He had been in line to make his first start for England for their final Euro 2020 qualifier in Pristina.

But he is now a major doubt after picking up a calf problem and may not be risked by Gareth Southgate, per Sky Sports News.

Maddison is set to undergo a late fitness test before a final decision is made on his participation.

Joe Gomez has already been ruled out through injury, while Liverpool team-mate Jordan Henderson has also pulled out of the squad.

Goalkeeper Nick Pope is being tipped to make his full England debut, having appeared just once previously as a substitute.
