Jadon Sancho backs Rhian Brewster to shine at Liverpool | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho believes Rhian Brewster is at the right club to fulfil his immense potential.

Brewster spent the whole of last season injured but has since returned to fitness, scoring four and assisting one in pre-season.

And Sancho – who has played alongside the 19-year-old for England – insists he ‘knows how good he is’.

“He is a great player,” he told ESPN. “I played with him a lot for England and he scored a lot of goals for us and I have assisted him!

“It’s a good thing for us to have someone like him. I feel like he is at the right club, he is developing and he is still so young.

“Just give him the time and patience and you will see. I know how good he is. He causes defenders nightmares.”

It’s understood that Reds boss Jürgen Klopp will keep Brewster at Anfield this season, instead of sending him on loan.
