Jack Grealish 'not ready' for Tottenham says former striker | OneFootball

The Aston Villa playmaker has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham but Ally McCoist doubts Jack Grealish’s ability to make the starting XI.

The former Scotland international told talkSPORT doesn’t believe the Villa man can make an impact at White Hart Lane and warned Grealish off of his proposed move to North London.

“I don’t see him being a regular in that side at this moment in time,” he said.

McCoist said that while Grealish may not push for a starting role now, he could develop to that quality.

“I do think he has the ability to progress and play at that level. Is he ready right now for the Spurs first team? I would suggest no,” the Rangers legend continued.

“For that move to go ahead he would have to realise he is probably not going to start every game. ”

“They do play the type of football that I could see him playing,” McCoist added.
